MY (SECRET) DATING GAME KICKOFF EVENT
The Kickoff event for My (Secret) Dating Game series, held on July 22nd in Los Angeles, was the beginning of a revolutionary new movement that will forever change the way we love.
They called it “REMARKABLE,” “EXCITING,” and “MOVING!” A big thank you to all that attended - we had such a blast talking about the new series and how we’re getting offline to connect differently.
THE LOVED TEAM
The LovEd Team has been out on the street asking people to talk about their online dating experiences and their reactions to getting offline and connecting face to face. See them below sporting their new My (Secret) Dating Game hats!

BE THE 5 Segment:
LovEd's Clarity Program teaches us how to be a level 5 on the Emotional Maturity (EM) Scale. Each month, we feature someone who has inspired us with their high level of EM, meaning they've chosen not to take things personally, respond reactively or approach the situation in a way that contributes to the problem.
This month, we're featuring actress, musician and activist, Jada Pinkett Smith. Jada has recently won the Trailblazer Award on MTV's Movie/Television Awards. Her Facebook video series Red Table Talk welcomes people in to be open and have a conversation on tough but important topics.

MTV’s Trailblazer Award “recognizes game-changing creators with fresh and fearless voices in entertainment.” According to MTV, Jada received this year’s award because of she’s unafraid to challenge the status quo, and has achieved success in so many different avenues during her career.
Initially, Jada admits she felt unworthy of receiving the award. When she questioned why that might be, she revealed in her acceptance speech that “it was because I was comparing myself to all the many trailblazers that I admire.
RED TABLE TALK:
Jada, along with her daughter Willow and her mother Adrienne, host a web talk show called “Red Table Talk” on Facebook Watch, currently in its second season. The show provides "a forum where the perspectives of three different generations on a wide variety of topics are shared” and hosts a variety of guests for deep, personal conversations.
—JADA PINKETT SMITH
The show’s episodes have touched on a range of topics from surviving loss, to experiencing domestic abuse, learning to forgive, confronting mental illness, addressing infidelity, and exploring racial divide. The show is authentic and deals with topics we all face but are often too afraid to confront. It’s been nominated for awards such as Streamy (2018), People’s Choice (2018) and Daytime Emmy (2019), and has won the NAACP Image Award (2019).
There was a trending moment on the show where the conversation around the power of attraction brewed. It was a great building block for a much needed conversation about self-esteem and reassurance of one's beauty, especially when your partner is in the limelight or you have been in a long-term relationship.
You can check out this episode below:
Thank you, JADA PINKETT SMITH, for being the 5 AND HAVING THE COURAGE TO TACKLE IMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS, DESPITE HOW DIFFICULT THEY MAY BE.
