V-Day is Cliché - Card Contest

V-Day is Cliché

so we’re celebrating it the LovEd way.

We are revolutionizing the way we love ourselves and others. We’re doing love differently, on purpose and with intention. So we say: let’s make a pact this Valentine’s Day.

It’s time to treat ourselves with the kindness and respect we expect from others. To take responsibility for the lessons we have to learn. To be patient with ourselves through all our growing pains. To have a conversation about how we feel instead of expecting someone to read our minds. To be empowered by our experiences and not remain stuck in the past. To deal with our baggage instead of trying to change or fix someone else. To give up being the victim and to create the relationships that we deserve by becoming the partners we’re looking for.

In the spirit of revolutionizing Valentine’s Day, we’re inviting you to participate in our V-Day is Cliche Card Contest. We’re looking for unique, powerful perspectives that pave the way for a new way to celebrate. Long gone are the days of perusing boring card-aisles in supermarkets and splurging on cheap chocolates as expressions of our love.

Contest entries can be funny, cheeky or just plain honest. The goal is to create something for Valentine’s Day that transcends its modern-day commercialization of love. We want entries that are different, ironic and truthful. Share your insights and lessons learned. Convey feelings we can all relate to and inspire us to do love differently. Today, we take responsibility for changing our stories.
